Photocopies of letters to and from various people of unknown relationship who resided primarily in Green Bay or Appleton, Wisconsin, written in French, and conveying mainly personal and family news. Included are several letters, 1901-1902, from Armand Dupiereux with comments on employment opportunities in the Fond du Lac and Pelican Lake, Wisconsin, areas; three letters from Aline [Minsart?] mentioning employment in Appleton in the 1880s; an 1855 letter concerning Jean Baptiste Vincente and disruption in an unidentified church; two 1865 letters from Private Jacques Minsart, Co. B, 11th Regiment Wisconsin Volunteer Infantry; and one letter from L. Levasseur; accompanied by partial translations in English.
